The Melodic Death Metal band known as “The Black Dahlia Murder” have promised us a gruesome unpolished raw album in one of their interviews. That’s what we would expect from a band named after a terrible and nauseating crime. But this is no new band, for they have been around since 2001 and hold 6 albums in their record, with “Abysmal” being the seventh.
Nile is one of “those” bands that helped define and shape Death Metal in general, and technical Death Metal precisely. Now you see, ever since their formation, Nile have been putting out, and at a very steady rate, nothing but flesh melting riffs and face battering drumming as brutal and fast as the human mind can imagine, backed by the gruesome growls of Karl Sanders, infused with minor sounds and some oriental instruments to give the atmospheric feel of ancient times, especially from the times of the pharaohs, all of which creating a distinctive sound for the band.
First off, the video starts with a message that implies Nile is not taking sides with anyone, nor defending or attacking anyone.
Heavenwood is a Dark/Gothic Metal band formed in 1992 under the name Disgorged. HEAVENWOOD quickly established themselves as one of the most important Portuguese bands, alongside Moonspell. HEAVENWOOD signed to Massacre Records and has since released multiple albums and was the first Portuguese band EVER to play at Wacken Open Air. They will soon release an album titled “The Tarot of the Bohemians”.
“Hermit”, a track on the album, will feature Fadi Al-Shami. The vocal sessions for the song will be recorded at Haven Studio in Dubai by Hadi Sarieddine, the founder of Benevolent. Continue reading

It was in 2013 that Carcass released a full LP titled “Surgical Steel” which was followed by an EP titled “Surgical Remission/Surplus Steel”. The full LP was released after a much prolonged hiatus lasting from 1995 till 2007.
The news of the new album was revealed in an interview between Carcass guitarist Bill Steer and Rabid Noise.
