PRINCE Dead at 57

Iconic singer and multi-instrumentalist Prince Rogers Nelson, known by his mononym PRINCE, was found dead today morning April 21 at 9:43 am at his Paisley Park recording studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Prince died just a month and a half before completing his 58th year on this planet, running an iconic career that spanned for almost 40 years, leaving behind a legacy of 39 studio albums, 4 live albums, 6 compilation albums, and many prints on several other works like The New Power Generation (NPG)’s and Madhouse’s albums.

Prince was an incredible multi-instrumentalist claimed to be able to play more than 27 instruments. He is mostly known to play guitar, piano, drums, harmonica, and bass, aside from singing during his live shows. His style was unique and consisted of mixing several genres into his music like Rock, R&B, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Disco, Psychedelia, Jazz, and Pop.

Prince’s health condition was not very reassuring lately; his health condition has forced him to cancel two recent shows. Moreover, there were reports of one of Prince’s recent flights (April 15, 2016) being forced to make an emergency landing so that Prince could be taken to a hospital due to flu-like symptoms.

Carver County Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud confirmed to news reporters that the local police answered a medical call at 9:43, reports The Independent.

The cause of death is still unidentified. We will keep updating as soon as anything is revealed.
