It seems that Iron Maiden’s music has some healing powers as they will be receiving the O2 Silver Clef Award at the Nordoff Robbins music charity’s 40th annual ceremony. For those who are not familiar, Nordoff Robbins music therapy is a form of therapy for the psychological, physical, or developmental disabilities, and the Silver Clef Award is the event that helps the organization fund its work.

Another thing in favor of Iron Maiden is frontman Bruce heading towards full recovery. Of course, things are still vague regarding whether the disease is completely eradicated or not, as Bruce needs to be screened by an “MRI scan in May[…] and the period to full recovery will continue for a few months yet”, according to the band’s website.

The band has stated that the album is to be released and the tour will commence once Bruce is better. I SMELL A NEW ALBUM AROUND THE CORNER.
