Metallica Will Stream Hardwired Release Show

“Can’t be in London? Watch It Live At Home!”

With these words, it is confirmed that Metallica will stream Hardwired…To Self-Destruct release celebration concert on November 18th live online.

On Friday, we celebrate the release of Hardwired…To Self-Destruct with an intimate performance at the House of Vans in London. If you can’t be with us that night you can still be part of the madness as we stream the show live!

Eight years after “Death Magnetic” and five years after their collaborative album with Lou Reed, “Lulu”, the Thrash Metal giants are finally releasing “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct” this Friday, November 18th. Not only they graced the Metal scene with what is being called ‘a back to the roots’ album, but Metallica will also stream Hardwired entire London show live for the world to see.

Metallica will be celebrating the release of their 10th studio album at the very intimate House of Vans in London. Tickets were only available for Fifth members and lucky winners of the Vans ticket contest.

The show will start at 9:00 pm GMT, so check your clocks and mark the date. If you are not a Fifth member or didn’t win the ticket for the London show, you can still be part of it and stream it right from Metallica.com or the band’s official channel on YouTube.

But, if for any reason you were not able to watch the show live or online, fear not, as Metallica thought about everything. Therefore, the entire show will be available on demand in its entirety for seven days after the event.

Last but not least, Metallica’s statement closed with:

Hardwired…For The Holidays

As for the holidays celebrations, Metallica decided to celebrate the holidays at their hometown: “It’s about time we plan some festivities to celebrate the release of Hardwired…To Self-Destruct right at home in the Bay Area! And what better way to wind down the year than a special Fifth Members show in our own backyard at the historic Fox Theater in Oakland, CA as we hit the stage there on December 17th for the last time in 2016… it promises to be quite the party!”

Tickets will be sold on November 18th for $100 each, with a limitation of two tickets per person at Ticketmaster.com. But if you were a Fifth Member, you will have the chance to win an opportunity to purchase up to two tickets per member in a special pre-sale that begins on Thursday, November 17th. Fifth Member tickets will be at $25, and to win this offer, you have to register here.

The special thing about this concert, other than being at the Bay Area, is that it’s a charity concert. Also, Metallica encourages everyone who comes to the show to celebrate the spirit of holidays by bringing a donation of canned goods to the venue and there will be collection bins by all the entrances.
