Ghost B.C.’s new album titled Meliora is to be released on August 21st.
The band revealed the album’s artwork which looks like a parody of a movie banner (Metropolis), something Ghost B.C. have been doing on their albums and band T-shirts.
This album’s artwork is done by Zbigniew M. Bielak and looks something like this:
As for the track listing, the album has 10 tracks:
- Spirit
- From The Pinnacle To The Pit
- Cirice
- Spöksonat
- He Is
- Mummy Dust
- Majesty
- Devil Church
- Absolution
- Deus In Absentia
Of which, Cirice (translates to church) has been released as free downloadable single. And I must say, this one “rumbles” from start to end. It opens up with a piano and some string ensembles, and builds up gradually until, well, it just keeps building up. As for the lyrics, its sounds like someone preaching someone, that they are accepted (INTO THEIR CULT) no matter how hurt, “tainted”, or “scared” they are.
Check it out below, or download it for free from the band’s official website.
Seems like Papa Emeritus III is doing a great job leading the band towards world domination.
