Ozzy Osbourne has had a Midland Metro tram named after him in Birmingham, England.
The lead singer of the legendary band Black Sabbath had come to Birmingham on Thursday morning as final testing continued before the opening of the tram extension from Bull Street to New Street station. The first part of the £128 million, 0.7-mile extension, which runs from Snow Hill station to Bull street, opened in December.
Ozzy stated: “It’s a great honor to have a new tram named after me, I’m proud to be a Brummie and this means so much.”
Well I hope that train doesn’t get off its rails!
