Progressive Thrash band Eden have been teasing their new album for quite some time now, but alas, the release date has been revealed and the album is just around the corner.
Founded in 2012 by vocalist Charbel Haddad, the band saw multiple line-up changes since then until they started settling in 2015 with their current line-up which gave birth to their progressive thrash sound, gaining the band an expanding fan base. The band currently consists of Charbel Haddad on vocals, Nareg Vassilian on guitar, Joe Nassar on drums, and Jad Stephan on bass.
Recording of the album was announced way back in March 2016, and ever since, the band have been teasing their fans with short clips of the members in the studio with very little details on whatever material is going to be on the album until they released their first single titled The Fall.

In a small chat with founder and vocalist Charbel, we learned a few details on the album, like the release date for example. Sworn Obedience will be released on October 7, as part of Eden’s performance during the “Grave Live in Lebanon” Concert.
“We have recorded this entire album by ourselves at my own studio”, tells us Charbel, “it’s going to be a very special album, as it will contain, in addition to the originals, some songs that will never be heard later on anywhere else on any of our other albums, and it will be a very limited release with only 200 copies intended for sale in Lebanese territory solely, with a very special copy numbered 666 containing a message from the band…we are even printing and assembling the album sleeve and cover art by ourselves, that’s how special this album is going to be”, says Charbel.
We are very excited for this release! Are you? Then make sure to grab a copy of Sworn Obedience during Grave’s concert in Lebanon.
