For the second year in a row, Britain’s biggest Rock and Metal festival, DOWNLOAD, returns to Paris. This is great news for all Metal and Rock lovers in France and Paris. This year, DOWNLOAD Paris 2017 will take place at the air base 217 of Brétigny-sur-Orge / Le Plessis – Pâté on Friday 9, Saturday 10, and Sunday 11 June with an exceptional line up.
Top acts including Green Day, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Slayer, and Gojira, in addition to Prophets Of Rage, Epica, Mastodon, Alter Bridge, Architects, Five Finger Death Punch, and many more, who will be gracing the Download stages.
Originally, DOWNLOAD was created in 2003 on the Donington Park circuit in Leicestershire, England. This year, the UK version will take place on the same weekend and has somehow a similar line up. Last year, Download Paris debuted on June 10th till June 12th at the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris, featuring many Rock and Metal bands like legendary Iron Maiden and Rammstein, as well as Korn, Deftones, Megadeth, Ghost, Volbeat, Biffy Clyro, Amon Amarth, Gojira, Sabaton, Anthrax, Rival Sons, and Trivium, gathering many different scenes together.
After the huge success of last year’s first French edition, Download Festival Paris returns in 2017 for three awesome days. But this year, the festival will take place on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, and Sunday 11th June in a new location: Brétigny-sur-Orge Air Base 217 / Le Plessis-Pâté, 30 minutes from Paris.
Download Paris 2017 will be headlined by: System Of A Down, Green Day, Linkin Park, in addition to Slayer, Blink 182, Prophets of Rage (featuring Rage Against The Machine members, Cypress Hill, & Public Enemy), Rancid, Mastodon, Suicidal Tendencies, Five Finger Death Punch, Alter Bridge. And that’s not all, to ensure variety in the event, the organizers added: Converge, Architects, Skinny Puppy, Dagoba, Carpenter Brut, Kontrust, Pierce The Veil, Lonely The Brave, Wakrat, and DevilDriver.
