Witness a Melodic Scandinavian death metal at its finest.
A Marriage of Scandinavian death metal and traditional Finnish tunes, catchy but progressive, melodic but brutal – these have been the INSOMNIUM trademarks ever since.

INSOMNIUM formed in 1997 from Finland. Will be performing for the first time in the Middle East. The sound and lyrical themes of their music portray darkness, sorrow, loss, pain, and nature. These stern men have ever since redefined the boundaries of the genre. Introduced a young and fierce band that combined aggression and strong riffing to melancholic atmosphere.

Two bands will be supporting the event and not just one as planned. The reason is simply stated in Metal East Records’ statement below:

Winner announcement:
The competition was extremely tough on the last 2 days.
The Cosmic Truth & Smouldering In Forgotten showed great efforts which no one can deny.
Therefore. we decided that we will give the chance for both bands to be part of the concert and perform alongside the mighty Insomnium.
Congratulations guys.
And hard luck for the rest of the participating bands, we promise that there’s more to come.
In the end, we would like to thank all the people who voted, you guys made it an amazing experience for us and the bands.
