The Fete de la Musique returns in its 16th edition with a program spanning over two weeks and including several areas in Lebanon.
For the 35th anniversary of the Fete de la Musique, The French Embassy and l’Institut Français du Liban took the slogan “louder music” (la musique plus forte) and implemented it, not just in Beirut, but also in the cities of Zahle, Saida, Deir el-Qamar, Batroun, Tripoli, and Jounieh. The purpose behind this is to have a wider and more diverse audience.
However, the main bulk of the festival will be in Beirut, as there will be several events in the weeks prior to the festival, and multiple stages set up in various streets and clubs for the occasion.
The Fete de la Musique is a great opportunity to discover local talents and get introduced to the local underground music scene. Moreover, it is an opportunity to meet musicians of different backgrounds and genres, especially that a number of international acts are joining in for this year’s edition of the festival.

A partir de/starting 19h La rue du Liban sera ouverte aux piétons du coucher du soleil jusqu’à 23h, avec des DJ’s sets devant les bars Demo, Café Vert, Yukunkun.
Rue du Liban will be open to pedestrians from sunset until 11 pm, with DJ’s sets in front of the bars Demo, Cafe Vert, and Yukunkun.
Note that there will be two events taking place, one on June 18 and another on June 21
