Download Festival returns to Paris with its third edition this year and the second edition in the new venue at la Base Aérienne 217, a 30-minute drive only from the city of lights.

There were a lot of speculations about this year’s edition before the announcement, French fans were anticipating something huge on the horizon and they weren’t disappointed at all.

Download Festival Paris 2018 returns this year with its biggest line-up yet since the first edition back in 2016, and also this year it will be a four-day festival, starting on Friday the 15th of June and ending on Monday the 18th of June.

Friday is expected to host 16 bands, the biggest names to look out for are GHOST, ALESTORM, ELUVEITIE, OPETH, and the prince of darkness OZZY OSBOURNE will headline the opening night of the festival.

Saturday takes a different turn with different genres compared to Friday as we look forward to see bands like MESHUGGAH, THE OFFSPRING, and AVATAR.
MARILYN MANSON will headline Saturday’s night.

Download is known for the variety of bands and their genres and this year is no different, it will be a long weekend of absolutely incredible acts.

Sunday bands are truly exciting for the alternative and grunge lovers, EGO KILL TALENT, PERTURBATOR, MASS HYSTERIA, and THE HIVES will definitely rock the stages of Download making the way for the headliner of the night, THE FOO FIGHTERS, yes, the awesome Dave Grohl will be leading THE FOO FIGHTERS to headline the third night of the festival. This night is a night to look forward to and definitely not to be missed.

On a usual edition, now it is the time we stop, but this year as we mentioned earlier, we are all up for a treat. Monday is also a heavy metal day.

Monday has only 10 bands on the bill, but not just any 10 bands, the fourth and final day will host SEETHER, JONATHAN DAVIS, and VOLBEAT, then Download will close its curtains with GUNS N’ ROSES headlining the final night.

For Rock and Metal lovers in France and around the world, it doesn’t get any better, Download is not to be missed this year.
