POINT OF VIEW is an award winning 5-piece rock quintet from Dubai. A band with a unique story to tell, POINT OF VIEW won the Timeout Award for the Best Band in 2013 & was the first & only band from the Middle Eastern region to be officially endorsed by the iconic Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Ex Guns N Roses / Art Of Anarchy / Sons Of Apollo). POINT OF VIEW was also handpicked by “Slash” from GUNS N ROSES to support the Middle Eastern leg of their sold out “NOT IN THIS LIFETIME RE-UNION TOUR 2017” The band has been around since 2005 and has played more than 70 gigs over the last decade. The band has supported acts such as FAITHLESS (UK) / HOOBASTANK (USA) / LAKE OF TEARS (BELGIUM) and has headlined quite a few local festivals in and around UAE.
The band’s debut album, “REVOLUTIONIZE THE REVOLUTIONARY” has sold more than 4000 Physical Copies. The band’s music can be described as Melodic, aggressive with a huge Grunge influence in their songwriting style. The band is locked into an active tour calendar for 2018-2019 (Japan / Norway / Denmark / Sweden /Lebanon / Egypt / Nepal / Jordan)
The band has also been picked up by GRAMOPHONE MEDIA (New York) to actively generate global PR for the band & its initiatives.
On the CSR front the band actively contributes & associated with the cause of Animal Welfare & Autism in Children. The band regularly donates to both causes. In the recent past the band has initiated fund raisers and contributed towards the floods in Pakistan & the Earthquake in Nepal.
