Arch Enemy | New Album “Will To Power”

Arch Enemy will be releasing their 10th studio album, Will To Power, on September 8, 2017 via Century Media Records. The band are also excited to reveal the album’s captivating cover artwork, shown below, designed by Alex Reisfar.

Co-produced by Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, the album was sent to long-time collaborator and friend, Jens Bogren, (Opeth, At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir) for mixing and mastering and marks legendary Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis‘ first recording with the band.

Following in the steps of their most acclaimed album to date, “War Eternal”, which saw the band reach their highest charts in the US and Germany, “Will To Power” will continue to smash records worldwide.

While full details and pre-order information on “Will To Power” will be made available in the coming weeks, fans can currently take part in a special campaign which will allow them to sign up and have their name featured in the “Will To Power” Deluxe Box Set Edition. Five Finger Death Punch Pranked All That Remains Frontman Phil Labonte

During the final show of Five Finger Death Punch’s U.S. Tour, the band members did some pranks on All That Remains guest frontman Phil Labonte, who filled in for Ivan Moody who had to step out of the tour due to sickness.

At the final show of the tour on December 10 in Duluth, G.A., Phil Labonte was surprised to find a dildo instead of his mic, taped to the stand. Footage can be seen below.

Phil took the joke very lightly. He even shared the above footage on his personal Instagram account and posted about it with the following:
“When I ran out on stage instead of a mic there was a dick,” read the post, which can be seen below. “Fitting way to end a really fun 8 shows. Thanks to @zoltanbathory @jasonhook_5fdp @5fdpchriskael and Jeremy. So much fun to help these boys out.”

But he didn’t know what was awaiting him later.

Five Finger Death Punch wanted to fool around more, so they took advantage of the fact that Labonte was still learning the songs’ lyrics and was using a teleprompter, because he couldn’t memorize all the lyrics with the little time he had to practice with the band. So during “The Bleeding,” the band changed the lyric “I remember when all the games began” to “I remember when all the dicks began” as you can clearly hear it in the video below.

Phenomy – New Line Up Change

In less than 5 months, the Lebanese thrash metal band “Phenomy” went through their second lineup change. After the departure of their last vocalist, Adel, and replacing him with “Sam Felfly”, Phenomy announced the departure of “Raymond Ghorayeb”, the bassist.

The reasons behind the decision remain unannounced, but with the ongoing album recording sessions and the release date getting closer, the band is pushing towards a tight and steady lineup that can keep up with the work needed to bring the best out of their music, thus, handing over the bass duties to their newest member, “Kevin Ghanem”.

Kevin, ex-Eden, has officially joined the band and will contribute to the recording process of “Once And For All”, Phenomy’s debut album.

We will be sharing more about the new album as well as the new members’ contributions soon.
